Paul Tooth joined Promontory to lead the Wales office

A Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years of international experience, Paul brings specialist expertise in energy, offshore, and infrastructure claims to Promontory’s expanding UK practice.

Promontory is pleased to announce the opening of its Wales office under the leadership of Paul Tooth, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor whose career spans offshore wind farms, HVDC converter stations, oil & gas ventures, LNG facilities, refineries, power stations, and major civil infrastructure including stadiums and airports.

Paul’s international project portfolio covers the UK, Norway, the Netherlands, Qatar, Turkey, South Africa, Dubai, France, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Romania, and offshore installations. His claims expertise spans the full lifecycle, from the preparation and submission of Extension of Time and Loss & Expense claims through to negotiation and defence before tribunals.

He brings a strong background in site measurement, progress reporting, monthly valuations, cost value reconciliation, and Earned Value Analysis, and has extensive experience across all major and bespoke forms of contract.
