Biography

Lee Hudson is a highly experienced delay expert with over 39 years' construction industry experience, including more than 26 years specialising in project management, planning, and programming across complex construction and engineering projects.

He is regularly appointed as a Delay Expert in adjudication and litigation, and has supported expert teams in numerous high-value disputes involving time, programme, and scheduling matters. Lee has extensive experience in the preparation and defence of Extension of Time claims, forensic delay analysis, programme audits, and contract-compliant planning strategies.

Lee has worked across a broad range of sectors including healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, data centres, energy, aviation, and mixed-use developments, with project experience in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Middle East. He has advised contractors, developers, Employer's Agents, and legal teams from pre-construction through to project completion and dispute resolution.

He possesses in-depth knowledge of standard and bespoke forms of contract, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, ICE, and GC Works, and is highly regarded for his ability to translate complex delay scenarios into clear, robust expert reports suitable for formal proceedings.

Lee holds an MSc in Construction Law, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).
