Biography
Merve completed her legal education at the Turkish-German University and Freie Universität Berlin, gaining a solid foundation in both Turkish and German legal systems. She is admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association.
She began her career at a leading Turkish law firm founded by former White & Case partners, where she was involved in major infrastructure and energy projects. Her work focused on large-scale PPP-structured developments, particularly in the healthcare and motorway sectors, advising prominent Turkish companies throughout complex project lifecycles.
Following this, she worked closely with Turkish construction companies operating across the Gulf region, where she developed a strong interest in, and professional network within, the MENA market.
Merve is currently based in Dubai, supporting energy, infrastructure, and construction projects across the region. Her work focuses on project management support, claims and contract management, and the coordination of expert witness, quantum, and delay analysis services for complex projects.
